Shocker, another project that includes a frame. Maybe my blog should be called "Put it in a Frame".
I love snowflakes and snowmen. Love them. I've always wanted to put snowflakes in my windows, but have yet to find ones that work. I did some googling on how to make your own and came across a great tutorial with video included. YAY, I love videos!
Last night, I made my first 3D snowflake - it turned out beautiful. I can't believe how easy it was to make. It took less than an hour to do and cost me nothing. I used computer paper, scrapbook paper for a matte, tape, yarn and a frame - that's it! The snowflake looks great next to Frosty! Frosty was free to make too, which makes him even cuter.
If you would like to make your own snowflake(s), head over to Paper Zone for a great tutorial. I used 3 inch squares for my snowflake - any larger would have been too big for my frame.
