    DIY Framed Keys

    DIY FRAMED KEY CHARMS
Today I am sharing a quick and easy way to frame keys.
So simple.  So sweet.  My kind of craft!

If you don’t have your own vintage keys, like me, that’s okay,
you can buy Key Jewelry Charms, like the ones framed below!

All the materials were purchased at Hobby Lobby on sale.
I removed the glass from all the frames and stored them
    for safe keeping.

Each finished piece cost under $7 to make.  Happy dance!

This is all you need to make the Framed Keys:

For this key frame below, I used a little hot glue to place it on the matte.
The matte is scrapbook paper I had on hand.  Fun fabric would also work great,
    giving you lots of texture.

For the next two Key Frames, I twisted the jewelry wire,
folded and tucked them on top of the mattes.
Again, I used scrapbook paper for the matting.

    So easy!

This last one, I used a Key and Heart charm together…
twisting and tucking the wires up top.

I hope you enjoyed my quick and easy craft!
    Thanks for stopping by!

These are really pretty, Mary! The wire works great for the keys that don't lay flat ~ I have several of those. I'm off to see your heart post, too!
