DIY Best Friend Heart Charm Frame Set

I’ve had this idea in my head for a while and have
been meaning to make these for months!
I finally sat down for a few minutes and put them together…

I love them!  So Simple.  So Sweet.  So easy.
They are a perfect gift for a best friend.

DIY BEST FRIEND HEART CHARM FRAME SET

This is a super easy DIY!

    Here’s all you need:

    Two Small Frames
    Best Friend Charms
    Jewelry Wire
Scrapbook Paper or Fabric for the Matte
    Scissors

So easy to make, done in under 10 minutes.  Remove the glass from the frame, cut out your matte, place the charm on the wire and twist.  Bend the wire and tuck it up top, behind the matte.  Ready to go…

I purchased everything at Hobby Lobby @ 1/2 off.
    Each frame – $2.50
    Paper – $.50
    Charms – $1.50
    Wire – $1.50

Total cost to make a set was around $8.00 – Pretty good!

For this one, I used two pieces of scrapbook paper for the matte.
The one with the hearts is translucent,
so I added black & white script scrapbook paper behind.

How easy and sweet is this DIY?!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is an awesome idea!! Being friends with my bestie for over 20 yrs now, it's really hard to find something different for her birthday. I liek teh matte paper idea in teh background, but to make it more of a personalized keepsake, I am going to write her a letter and use this as the script part of it. Thank you for the idea… I'm super excited to get started!
