    Veggie Time Tip!

I love playing with my food!  I’m always searching for ways to add nutrition and taste.  My girls’ favorite muffins are the ones made with a can of pumpkin.  That makes me so happy! One of my favorite ways of sneaking vegetables in, are by adding them to easy foods like cans of soup, Healthy Choice Café Steamers/frozen meals, ready-made pizzas, salads, sandwiches and wraps.  They not only add nutrition, veggies can turn something ordinary into extraordinary!  Best of all, it’s so easy and there are no rules!

Here’s what I did with my can of Progresso Soup for lunch today:

I added one chopped plum tomato and two large handfuls of fresh spinach.
Next, I added a few dashes of Penzeys’ Mural of Flavor seasoning for extra flavor.  I heated the soup for about 4 minutes, stirring often.  Last, I topped the soup with a few croutons.

I always add extra spices to my food.  I love playing with seasonings.
This tastes great and it’s so good for you!

I’ll be adding my Veggie Tip to these great parties:

    Thanks for stopping by!
    Cheers!
