Danni here from Silo Hill Farm and I’m thrilled
and honored to be guest posting here at
Sweet Little Bluebird today!
I am longing for snow! I love it!
I miss all the snow we had when I lived in Montana.
My general feeling is that if it’s going to be cold…
it may as well snow!
This is an easy project that I first saw from my friend
Michelle who blogs over at Mich L. in L.A.
She has a fun blog where she creates jewelry out
of the craziest stuff. (She even has a contest where
you guess what something is made out of….
which I never win, but is oh so fun!)
I knew I wanted to try her project when
I spied this cute little plastic snowflake dish at the Dollar Tree…
yep…$1.00 only!
All I did was spray paint the back only
with a couple of coats of white primer.
Seriously, that’s it.
Can you believe the way it changes the color
and makes it look so much prettier?
Awesome transformation in just one step, don’t ya think??
Thanks Michelle for the amazing inspiration!
You can check out my inspiration from Michelle HERE,
and you should, because what she did is way better than mine!

I love the new look – so much more wintery, as well as prettier! I never thought to try it with something faceted, but oh, how nice!

Oh we have them at our version of the dollar store (although nothing is a dollar) that's awesome. It looks so pretty.

I love this Danni – so so pretty. Hence my love for painting all my vases and glassware lol – – the white against coloured glass or plastic is just gorgeous. Your projects rock!!!
