DIY ~ Framed For Any Occasion
Back in December, I told about my trip to Marshall's. I found the most beautiful 3D reindeer stickers and didn't know what to do with them. All I knew was that they were coming home with me. Ever since Christmas, my house has been filled with the cutest holiday decorations that took just minutes to make. What I love most is they are so inexpensive and look like they could have come from a boutique. You can use the same frames for each holiday or special occasion, by simply switching them out and saving them for next year. Your options are endless. You can celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and graduations - making those days extra special.
Here are my latest- Saint Patrick's Day!
All of the materials for this project were purchased at my local Hobby Lobby. The frames were 50% off and the stickers were 40% off. The small frames, with the 4 leaf clovers, cost around $3.50 each and the leprechaun cost around $6. Happy dance! The total cost for all 5 finished pieces, around $20!
All you need are frames, matte {scrapbook paper, fabric}, scissors and stickers.
These make great gifts!

Tried & True Tuesday ~ Spicy Tomato Chicken Alfredo
I was in the mood for something spicy last week and whipped up this yummy dish.
My daughter loved it so much, she asked me to make it for her birthday on Sunday!
Spicy Tomato Chicken Alfredo ~ Quick & Easy
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs Chicken breast cut into bite size pieces
1 23 oz. jar of spaghetti Sauce - I used Traditional Prego
1 16 oz jar of Alfredo - I used light Ragu Alfredo
1 14.5 oz can of Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, drained
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 to 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil, enough to coat skillet
Just a pinch/dash of Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Fresh Basil (use as much as you like to garnish, I like a lot)
Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Penne Pasta
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high - add chicken and garlic. Cook chicken until just about done. Pour spaghetti sauce, Alfredo sauce and can of diced tomatoes and chilies over top of chicken - add cayenne pepper, stir. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 mins. Spoon chicken and sauce over cooked pasta, garnish with basil and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Dig in!
