During spring break, my best friend, Sandi, came to visit from Ohio – you remember the friend that always has the best recipe shares. During her visit, she made an awesome dip for us – Warm Pesto Cheese Dip. And I mean it was AWESOME! Even Better, it was so simple to make and didn’t take time away from our visit.
With just three ingredients, a few minutes to throw together and around 20 minutes in the oven, we were treated to “knock-your-socks-off” dip!
Below are the three ingredients you need to make this delicious dip.
If you are a fan of pesto, this dip is for you.
Serve with your favorite crackers, pita chips or baguette.
The photo above is after it was baked. This dip is even delicious served cold the next day – I would know, I couldn’t wait to eat more and skipped heating it up.

Pesto Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 8 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese – regular or reduced fat at room temperature
- Small Jar of Classico Traditional Basil Pesto – we used half of a 8.1 oz jar
- Cherry or Grape Tomatoes, sliced in thirds – enough to top with a single layer
Directions (photo tutorial below)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
In an 8 inch pie plate or your favorite baking dish that is comparable, spread cream cheese evenly. Next spread a thin layer of pesto and then top with tomatoes. Bake on middle rack of oven for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, until it begins to bubble or the cheese at the edge of the baking dish begins to turn a light golden brown. Remove and serve warm with your favorite crackers, pita chips or baguette. Enjoy!
I have to thank my friend Sandi, for another wonderful recipe added to my blog’s recipe box. She’s the best. We had great times during her visit, wonderful food and memories to last a lifetime. I miss her already and can’t wait to plan our next visit.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Cheers!
